    About the Role
    Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, this individual will join the BI team to help design, develop and maintain complex models and analyses using MySQL and Tableau primarily.

    Key Responsibilities
    Develop operational models to keep track of day-to-day performance and provide directional guidance for key business functions
    Dive deep into internal and external data to diagnose areas of improvement to increase monetization and efficiency
    Support other members of the company with ad hoc analyses
    Maintaining and optimizing reports to manage the business, including:
    Daily advertiser and publisher delivery
    Daily and Monthly Company Margin and Revenue reporting
    EOM Billing for both Advertisers and Publishers

    Develop and distribute regular reports or dashboards of performance metrics
    Conduct analyses on historical data to support forecasting methodology and assumptions

    Qualifications (Tangibles)
    BA/BS degree with a strong academic record.
    Deep Excel expertise, with experience of building complex spreadsheets, using pivot tables and developing clear and accurate outputs.
    Experience with MySQL queries.
    Python programming experience a plus.
    Experience with Microsoft Access a plus.

    Qualifications (Intangibles)
    Highly numerate, with facility to interpret and evaluate data
    Highly analytical, ability to draw insights and conclusions from data and then recommend plans for action

    About the Role
    Reporting to the Sr Director of Ad Operations, will join the operations team to help with the general trafficking and account management duties. This role may also include the following but not limited to ad hoc reporting, data analysis, cross-functional project management and QA.

    Key Responsibilities
    Trafficking of ad campaigns with high level of accuracy
    Implementation and setup of new ad network, programmatic and strategic network delivery partners
    Optimization of campaigns to meet delivery and performance objectives
    Active day-to-day maintenance of existing campaigns to achieve overall company revenue goals
    QA of all issues that arise within network, and escalation of issues to Tech team as required
    Creation of screenshots for live ad campaigns
    Reporting, ad hoc delivery requests as needed
    Daily allocation of new campaigns and reallocation of existing campaigns
    Understanding of capabilities of network, based on demand and supply requirements
    Provide excellent and prompt customer service to resolve any issues
    Build increased efficiency across revenue stream with a focus on revenue maximization
    Manage channel conflicts, optimize daisy chain for best risk/reward scenario
    Drive innovative ways to integrate first and third-party relationships in order to improve campaign metrics
    Optimize fill rate and campaign performance by recommending and enacting adjustments to inventory and campaign delivery components

    Qualifications (Tangibles)
    BA/BS degree with a strong academic record
    2+ years experience advertising operations or campaign management
    1+ years experience in management of wholesale, network or programmatic operations

    Experience in Smart Ad Server’s ad serving and SSP technology – not required but a plus
    Superb skill in Microsoft Office Suite – most importantly Excel
    Working knowledge HTML, XML, and Javascript

    Mid level of experience in technical integrations, partner on-boarding, partner management, strategic account management, and/or client-facing product management with an advertising technology company.
    Solutions focused, client management and analytical skills across ad operations, technical and product areas all pluses
    High level of comfort escalating and presenting key issues to senior management
    Experience with Internet video a huge plus. Strong understanding of and interest in the impact of Internet technologies on consumption of media across the US.

    Genesis Media is looking for a qualified Intern to join our Publisher Operations team.  Reporting to the Director of Publisher Operations, this individual will work very closely with Business Development, Ad Operations, Analytics and Technology teams. He / She should thrive should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of ad tech environment.

    Responsibilities:
    Assisting Publisher Operations team to:
    On-board new publishers
    Create tags for integration
    Yield Optimization
    Participate in creating a knowledge base to document processes, guidelines, methods, procedures and best-practices
    Work closely with business development team to manage a publisher account list including handling publisher inquiries, resolving concerns, optimizing publisher integrations and making outbound requests to publishers to further Genesis Media’s strategic initiatives
    Manage timelines and deliverables across all teams during initial launch of platform on publishers
    Provide publisher feedback to product and technology teams for platform improvement initiatives, including but not limited to platform UI/UX, reporting, campaign mix, etc.

    Requirements:
    A prior internship in a Media-related field is a plus, but not required
    BA / BS or equivalent required. Analytical background preferred
    Excellent knowledge of excel
    Demonstrates aptitude to work with numbers
    Ability to communicate concisely and clearly both orally and in writing
    Self-Starter/Demonstrates Initiative
    Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities
