Mark has spent his career applying his expertise in traditional and emerging media to lead businesses that are at the forefront of digital innovation. As CEO of Genesis Media, he is focused on advancing the company through new stages of growth and guiding the development of technology and data products which help improve the economics and performance of digital content publishing.
Derived from his rich history with companies spanning digital video and mobile to broadcast and cable TV, Mark has a strong appreciation for both quality content creation, distribution and monetization capabilities for publishers. Since joining Genesis Media in 2012, Mark has been integral in driving growth for the company, which now has more than 3,000+ publishing partners benefiting from Genesis Media’s new generation of content monetization solutions.
Prior to joining Genesis Media, Mark served as the CEO of MegaPhone Labs. Under his leadership, MegaPhone Labs successfully pivoted from Out-of-Home gaming to become an industry leading interactive television platform. During his tenure, Mark led high-profile integrations of interactive television programming with companies including NBC and Univision.
Previously, Mark was the Vice President and Head of Corporate Strategy for NBC’s Local Media Division, driving digital growth for the company through the reinvention of web properties and investments in growth assets and distribution initiatives. He was also an integral member of Hulu’s launch team in 2007, serving as the Head of Business Operations.
